Systeme.io Pricing in 2026: Free, Startup, Webinar and Unlimited Plans Explained

Systeme.io costs $0, $17, $47 or $97 a month, depending on which of its four plans you choose. The free plan is permanent, requires no credit card and includes more than most platforms put behind a paywall. That said, the pricing page can be deceptive — contacts are not the only thing that runs out.

This article breaks down what each plan actually includes, which limits hit first, and how to work out which tier makes sense for where your business is right now.

Prices confirmed from the official Systeme.io pricing page, last updated April 2026, and independently checked in October 2026. Verify at checkout before committing to an annual plan.

Annual billing gives you two months free — you pay ten months' worth for twelve months of access. Every plan includes unlimited email sends, unlimited file storage, and 0% transaction fees from Systeme.io itself. (Your payment processor — Stripe, PayPal — still charges its own standard processing fees.)

Free plan: what you actually get

The free plan is genuinely usable, not a stripped demo. With it you can build a sales funnel, publish a course, run an affiliate programme, set up email sequences and accept payments — all before spending a dollar.

The limits that matter on the Free plan:

  • 2,000 contacts. Once your list hits this, you cannot add more without upgrading.

  • 3 sales funnels. Each funnel can have multiple steps, but three funnels total is a hard ceiling.

  • 1 course. One product for delivery, with up to 500 students.

  • 1 automation rule. This is where many people hit a wall faster than they expect. If you want a welcome sequence that tags contacts, then triggers a second email based on behaviour, you may already need more than one rule.

  • 1 email campaign. You can send unlimited individual emails, but only one saved campaign sequence.

  • 1 custom domain. Your website and funnels can run on your own domain, which is more than most platforms give away for free.

  • 1 blog. Useful for SEO, but just the one.

If you are building a list for the first time, testing a course idea, or running a single offer, the free plan will cover you for longer than you might think. The practical tipping point for most solo operators is the automation rule limit, not contacts.

Who should stay on the free plan: anyone under 1,500 contacts with one offer, one funnel and simple email sequences. If you are adding 100–150 contacts a month, use that time on the free plan productively before upgrading.

Who will outgrow it quickly: anyone selling multiple products, running separate funnels per offer, or wanting tag-based automation beyond a single trigger.

Startup ($17/month)

Startup is the right plan for most small coaching or course businesses that have outgrown the free tier. At $17/month, it significantly raises every limit that actually binds on the free plan.

What changes on Startup:

  • Contacts increase to 5,000

  • Sales funnels increase to 10

  • Courses increase to 5

  • Automation rules increase to 10 (the biggest practical upgrade)

  • Email campaigns increase to 10

  • Custom domains increase to 3

Ten automation rules is enough for nearly all solo businesses: a welcome sequence, a post-purchase sequence, a tag-based re-engagement trigger and a few more. Most people running one or two offers will not hit this ceiling on Startup.

At $170/year paid annually, Startup costs less than most platforms charge per month for their entry-level paid tier. If you are currently paying separately for email marketing and a funnel builder, Startup alone may replace both.

Who suits Startup: coaches or course creators with one to three offers, a growing email list below 4,000, and basic automation needs.

Who should skip it: anyone still comfortably under the free plan's ceilings. Paying $17/month two years before you need it serves nobody.

Webinar ($47/month)

The name is the most misleading thing about this plan. Webinar is not just for people running webinars — it is the mid-tier plan that handles businesses between 5,000 and 10,000 contacts, and the only plan below Unlimited that includes evergreen (automated) webinars.

What changes on Webinar:

  • Contacts increase to 10,000

  • Sales funnels increase to 50

  • Courses increase to 20

  • Automation rules increase to 100

  • Evergreen webinars: up to 10

  • Custom domains increase to 10

If you do not run evergreen webinars, you are paying $30/month more than Startup largely for headroom on numbers that Startup already covers for most solo operators. That is worth it if you are approaching 5,000 contacts, but if you are at 3,000 and growing slowly, the jump to Webinar is premature.

If you do run automated webinars as part of your sales funnel — the kind that run on-demand at any time, not live events — Webinar is the plan you need, and $47/month for a full marketing platform that includes this is genuinely competitive pricing.

Who suits Webinar: businesses actively using evergreen webinars as a sales tool, or those with lists between 5,000 and 10,000 contacts who need the higher capacity.

Who should skip it: anyone under 5,000 contacts who does not run evergreen webinars. The extra $30/month buys little that Startup does not already provide.

Unlimited ($97/month)

Unlimited removes virtually every numeric cap — contacts, funnels, courses, automation rules, custom domains, email campaigns, coupon codes, product variants — and adds two things that lower tiers do not have: unlimited sub-accounts and a free migration service.

Sub-accounts are the main reason agencies and consultants choose this plan. Each sub-account is a fully separate Systeme.io account with its own set of limits matching the Unlimited plan — meaning you can manage multiple clients under one subscription at no extra per-client cost.

Free migration means Systeme.io's team will move your existing funnels, courses and sequences from another platform. This is not a guarantee of a specific timeline or outcome — one G2 reviewer noted their migration was not completed despite waiting months — so verify what is included and get specifics in writing before relying on it.

At $97/month ($970/year), Unlimited is still significantly cheaper than entry-level Kajabi. If you are on Kajabi's Basic plan and not using features that Kajabi offers beyond Systeme.io's capability, the switch can produce meaningful savings at scale.

Who suits Unlimited: agencies managing multiple client accounts, businesses past 10,000 contacts, or anyone who has genuinely outgrown Webinar's already-generous limits.

Who should skip it: solo operators and small teams. The features that justify the price over Webinar — sub-accounts, migration, no caps — are not relevant to most single-business operators until they are well into five-figure contact lists.

Annual billing — when the maths works

Annual billing gives you two months free: you pay the equivalent of ten monthly payments for twelve months. The annual totals are $170, $470 and $970 for Startup, Webinar and Unlimited respectively.

The straightforward rule: pay monthly until you are confident the plan is right for you, then switch to annual. Locking in a year on the wrong plan — say, Webinar when you are 18 months away from needing evergreen webinars — wastes money that monthly billing would not.

On Startup, annual billing saves $34 over twelve months. That is not transformative. On Unlimited, it saves $194. If you are certain about the plan, the annual saving on the higher tiers is worth the commitment.

The limits that are not on the pricing page

Systeme.io's pricing table focuses on contacts, funnels and courses, but a few other limits are worth knowing before you sign up:

  • Students per course: 500 on the Free plan. This is rarely a constraint for new course creators, but worth noting if you are planning a large free course as a lead magnet.

  • Funnel steps: Free gives 15 steps total across your 3 funnels (roughly 5 steps per funnel). Startup raises this to 50 steps across 10 funnels.

  • CRM pipelines: Even on Unlimited, CRM pipelines are capped at 100 — so the plan is not literally unlimited in every dimension.

  • Payment gateways: Systeme.io supports Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Flutterwave and Xendit. If your preferred payment method is not on that list, check compatibility before committing.

  • Physical product shipping: Systeme.io does not support shipping label generation or geographic shipping restrictions. If you sell physical products, this matters.

Which plan suits you

The most useful way to choose is to work backwards from your current constraints, not forwards from an aspirational business size.

  • Under 1,500 contacts, one offer, simple automation: stay on Free.

  • Hitting the 3-funnel, 1-automation-rule or 1-course limit, or growing past 1,500 contacts: move to Startup at $17/month.

  • Running evergreen webinars as part of your sales funnel, or approaching 5,000 contacts: Webinar at $47/month.

  • Managing multiple client accounts, past 10,000 contacts, or needing migration support: Unlimited at $97/month.

The automation rule limit is the one most commonly overlooked. One rule means one trigger-action sequence. If your launch plan involves tagging buyers, excluding non-openers and triggering a different follow-up for people who clicked but did not buy, you will need Startup before you need it for contacts.

How Systeme.io pricing compares to Kajabi

Kajabi's Basic plan is priced at $149/month (billed monthly) or $119/month billed annually. Systeme.io Unlimited at $97/month covers more contacts and removes more limits than Kajabi Basic.

The trade-off is product polish and native features. Kajabi has more refined course delivery, a stronger native community experience and better design templates out of the box. Systeme.io wins on price at every tier — sometimes dramatically — but Kajabi offers features and aesthetics that some creators genuinely need and will pay for.

If you are deciding between the two, the full comparison is covered in the Kajabi vs Systeme.io guide on Funnel Tools.

Starting or switching

Systeme.io's free plan is a reasonable first step regardless of whether you intend to stay on it. It does not expire, requires no credit card and lets you build a real funnel and collect real contacts before spending anything. Start there, watch the three numbers that matter — contacts, funnels and automation rules — and upgrade when one of them actually stops you.

For a broader look at software deals and extended trials for coaches and course creators, the Funnel Tools offers directory lists current options worth checking before you commit to a paid plan.
