Kajabi Pricing in 2026: What Each Plan Actually Costs (and Whether It's Worth It for Coaches)
Kajabi's pricing page is clear enough at first glance: three plans, three price points, no revenue share. What gets confusing is that Kajabi went through a significant restructure in January 2026 — the Kickstarter plan was pulled from public pricing, contact limits were adjusted, and prices rose across every tier. A lot of articles still quote the old numbers. This one doesn't.
Below is what each plan actually costs as of October 2026, what it includes, what it doesn't, and the fees that don't appear on the main pricing page.
Kajabi's current plans and prices
Kajabi offers three public plans. Annual billing saves roughly 20% across all of them.
Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing (per month) |
|---|---|---|
Basic | $179/month | $143/month |
Growth | $249/month | $199/month |
Pro | $499/month | $399/month |
For context: before January 2026, Basic ran $119/month on annual billing, Growth was $159/month and Pro was $319/month. If a pricing article you've found shows those figures, or still lists a Kickstarter plan at $89/month, it's describing the old structure.
What each plan includes
Basic — $179/month (or $143/month annually)
Basic gives you five products, 2,500 contacts, one website, one community and two admin users. The full platform is included — course hosting, email marketing with unlimited sends, funnels, landing pages, checkout, and 0% revenue share on sales. You can build and sell a course, a coaching programme, and a lead magnet before you'd hit any of those limits.
What Basic doesn't include: an affiliate programme for your products, advanced automation rules, the ability to remove Kajabi branding from your site, and additional admin users beyond two. If you want affiliates promoting your courses, or automated sequences that branch based on what a subscriber clicks or buys, you need Growth.
Who Basic suits: coaches and course creators launching their first product or two who want email, checkout and a website in one place, without managing integrations between separate tools.
Who should wait: anyone who isn't yet ready to commit $143–$179 per month, or whose business is still at the idea-validation stage. Running a webinar funnel or a single course to fewer than a few hundred paying customers is unlikely to justify the monthly cost yet.
Growth — $249/month (or $199/month annually)
Growth is Kajabi's most popular plan. The contact limit jumps from 2,500 to 25,000. Products go from 5 to 50. Admin users increase to 11, which makes it realistic to bring on a VA or a second team member. You also get an affiliate programme, advanced automations, 500 AI credits per month, and — importantly — the option to remove Kajabi branding from your site, which isn't available at all on Basic.
Who Growth suits: established creators with a validated offer who want affiliates driving sales and automated email sequences that respond to subscriber behaviour rather than running on a fixed drip schedule.
Who should wait: anyone who hasn't yet tested whether their audience buys at all. Paying an extra $56–$70/month for affiliate tools and advanced automations you're not ready to use doesn't accelerate the business — it just raises the overheads.
Pro — $499/month (or $399/month annually)
Pro removes most of the limits: unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 26 admin users, three websites and three communities. It also bundles two features that used to be separate paid add-ons — a Branded Mobile App (previously $199/month) and full API access (previously $25/month). AI credits rise to 1,000 per month.
Who Pro suits: multi-brand operators, established coaching businesses with a team, or anyone who needs a white-labelled mobile app for their membership or course community. At this price, the bundled add-ons make the maths work only if you'd actually use them.
The fees that don't appear on the pricing page
Kajabi does not take a percentage of your sales as a platform. That matters, and it's genuinely one of the cleaner pricing models in this category. But there are processing fees worth knowing about, and they're not shown on the main plans comparison.
If you use Kajabi Payments
Kajabi has its own payment processor available in certain countries. If you use it, your standard processing fee applies (the rate varies by country — Kajabi publishes the full breakdown separately). There is no additional platform fee on top of that.
If you use a third-party processor (Stripe or PayPal) in a market where Kajabi Payments is available
This is where it gets important. If Kajabi Payments is available in your region and you choose to use Stripe or PayPal instead, Kajabi adds a platform fee on top of your payment processor's own fees:
Basic: 2% per transaction
Growth: 1% per transaction
Pro: 0.5% per transaction
That fee applies to every sale. On a $500 course sold to 20 students in a month, it's an extra $200 on Basic — not nothing. If you're in a region where Kajabi Payments isn't offered, this additional fee doesn't apply.
The practical upshot: check whether Kajabi Payments is available in your country before choosing your plan, and factor the processor fee into your cost modelling if it applies.
Is there a Kajabi free plan?
No. Kajabi has no free tier. The standard starting point is a 14-day free trial, which gives full access to whichever plan you sign up for. Signing up through a Kajabi affiliate partner typically extends that to 30 days, and there have been occasional promotional offers — three months on the Basic plan for $99 has appeared several times — but these aren't permanently available and shouldn't be treated as baseline pricing.
What Kajabi's pricing actually means for coaches
$143 per month on Basic sounds expensive in isolation. It looks different when you add up what it replaces. If you're currently running an email marketing platform, a separate course hosting tool, a landing page builder, and managing a checkout integration between all of them, the combined monthly cost can easily exceed Kajabi's Basic rate — and those tools don't talk to each other without maintenance work.
The value case for Kajabi rests on consolidation. If you'd genuinely use the email marketing, the course platform, the funnel builder and the website as a package, the pricing makes sense from a few thousand contacts upward. If you only need course hosting and your email tool is already working well, Kajabi is likely more than you need at this stage.
The coaches and course creators for whom Kajabi tends not to make sense yet: those just starting out who haven't validated an offer, those running a single course on a platform-only tool and not using email or funnels, and those whose audience is small enough that a free or near-free starting point makes more sense while the business finds its feet. Systeme.io's free plan, for example, lets you run a funnel, email a list of up to 2,000 contacts, host one course and take payments — all at no cost — before committing to a paid platform.
Questions coaches ask about Kajabi pricing
Does Kajabi take a cut of my sales?
No revenue share, regardless of plan. The only fees are the monthly subscription and any applicable payment processing fees described above.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade or switch between monthly and annual billing at any time from your account settings.
What happened to the Kajabi Kickstarter plan?
The Kickstarter plan was removed from Kajabi's public pricing in January 2026 as part of the restructure. It may still appear via some affiliate links or promotions, but it is no longer listed as a standard plan and you can't rely on it being available when you sign up.
Is Basic enough to start a coaching business on Kajabi?
For most coaches launching their first offer, yes. Five products, 2,500 contacts, unlimited email sends, funnels and a checkout cover everything you need to sell and deliver. The constraints that push coaches to Growth — an affiliate programme, advanced automations and branding removal — are things most businesses don't need in their first year.
If you're weighing Kajabi against other all-in-one platforms or looking for current deals and extended trials, the Funnel Tools software offers page lists verified deals for coaches and course creators — including Kajabi.
